01-18-2023Weekly Reflection

After Roe was revised last 24 June 2022, ‘Abortion Laws went to the states. June 24 is Feast Day of St. John the Baptist. He leaped with joy in his mother’s womb when his mother St. Elizabeth heard St. Mary’s voice!

As an example of states:

17 states banned abortion as of 22 November 2022. They’re Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, S. Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and W. Virginia.

Still in 33 states you can do an abortion legally.

The 17 states that banned abortion with sets of different set of rules.

Examples are Arizona currently has a 15-week Abortion bans, also Florida. Utah has an 18 week abortion ban, Oklahoma has banned abortion since May, Alabama is near a total ban,
Texas state’s trigger law as 25 August 2022, 30 days after the Supreme Court judgment and so with other states. This shows you that abortion is not end at all!

Also, Abortion bans are currently blocked in 7 states they are Arizona, Indiana, N. Dakota, Ohio, S. Carolina, Utah & Wyoming.

We’re planning to gather together pray for an end of abortions also praying for more adoptions and helping single mothers!

We are also planning for baby showers here at St. Mary Kingman on Feb 18/19. We hope you’ll all join us for the coming rosary prayer service & also support the baby shower!

May God bless each one of you abundantly and keep praying until the end of Abortion! Thank You! Life is a gift from God! We should listen to His Will, carry out as His children!
